The vampire [collection] : a grand romantic opera in two acts with an introduction / by Wilhelm Aug. Wohlbrück ; music by Heinrich Marschner. 1840-1843.

Arranged in three groups: I. Vocal scores (1 in 2 vols.). II. Scripts (1 in 2 vols.). III. Dialogue parts (6). All manifestations are in manuscript and most bear the name of Edward Seguin and/or Anne Seguin. The vocal score carries Edward Seguin's signature and "New York 1840." The script identifies J.R. Planché as the translator and William Hawes as the music adaptor. Dialogue parts exist for six of the characters in the English adaptation: the Vampire, Franz Boro, Liska, Stephen Sarko, Alexis, and Martin Brunn. Some of these identify L. McDougall as the copyist, and also bear the note "Chestnut St. Theatre, Philad., Jany 1843."
